Updates from the New Space!

Things are chugging along over at 3016 Minnehaha! Here are some fun updates so far:

• We found out there is a structural integrity issue in one of the walls holding up the mezzanine (ruh-roh), so we had to hire a structural engineer and architect to reinforce that wall and make sure it doesn't come crumbling down

• The rubber flooring arrived but is unfortunately all damaged so we are figuring out how to get that replaced.

• In good news demolition was complete and the ceiling and walls are all painted

• Sawcutting for plumbing is currently underway

• The overhang is down and the painters are prepping the outside for paint and signage

I wanted to share what the outside of the building will look like:

You can see here that we will be moving the entryway to the left side of the building and creating a double-door vestibule. The current doorway will become glass block to add an extra window. Then we have our beautiful sun cascading across the front!
