Fall Challenge and Beyond

In the Fall, we focus on strength. This Fall, we have used a variety of exercises to build stability and range of motion for general strength. We have used Deadlift and Jerk for specific upper and lower body strength with measurable results. We have been making progress on our Pull Up strength. We will wrap up the Fall Challenge soon, but we will stay focused on strength until the new year.  

Testing Out

We will test out of our Fall Challenge movements during the week of November 18th. Monday and Tuesday classes will have test out options or you can test out during any Open Gym times that week. If you test out during an Open Gym, enter your score directly into Wodify or send them to Coach Garrett Ferderber [email protected]

Monday, 11/18, 1-3 Rep Max Deadlift OR 1-3 Rep Max Jerk AND AMRAP/2 Pull Up Option

Tuesday, 11/19, 1-3 Rep Max Deadlift OR 1-3 Rep Max Jerk AND AMRAP/2 Pull Up Option

Any Open Gym, 11/18-11/24, any/all options

Prize Drawing

That diaper box is so full with your submissions! At the end of the week, we will draw one lucky name from the box and that person will win a trip for two to Watershed Bathhouse. You must be registered and have a test-in and test-out to be eligible to win. You do not have to do both Jerk and Deadlift to be eligible. Just one is fine.

More Strength Programming

Once we finish the Fall Challenge, we will continue to focus on Strength until we begin the Solcana Invitational Cycle in the new year. We will keep the general flow the same, but our Monday/Tuesday Strength focus will include working on a wider variety of lifts, not just Deadlift and Jerk.
