Each week in class, kids will get to try some weightlifting and body weight skills, participate in fun physical games, complete obstacle courses, and more. The goal of this program is to introduce kids to strength skills and movement in a fun, supportive environment that is different than a sport.
This class is inclusive of all, with a particular focus on creating a safe and welcoming space for queer and trans youth. We are committed to honoring and respecting you and your child’s identity, no matter what.
Ages 6-13 are welcome, we ask that your child have some experience in a structured school setting before taking the class. No physical experience or sport experience is required.
Last year this class involved parents, but this year parents can drop kids off, or hang out if they so desire, but it's not a kid+ parent class this time :)
